TERMS OF SERVICE: Please note per Zack Academy's terms of service, changes or cancellations are typically not permitted within 1 week of class. However, The Academy of Textiles and Flooring (ATF) will permit an exception when rescheduling to one of their future classes. For in-person classes, transfers requested 6 days or less will be charged a separate fee of $50 paid directly to ATF. For transfers requested on the first day of class or later, a fee of $100 paid directly to ATF will be required.
Why Should You Take This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course?
This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment.
Emphasis will be placed on teaching applied structural drying techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform these services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.
Please Note: This class includes hands-on experience. Please wear shoes that can get wet.

Class Prerequisite: You must have the taken the IICRC WRT (Water Damage Restoration) course. Please bring your IICRC card or proof of taking the exam to class.
IICRC Exam Fees: The ASD certification exam fee is $80; retests will be $80. These fees are in addition to the course registration fee and are paid directly to IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

The instructor Chris was great, very knowledgeable, and a good teacher. I would have like to see a better hands-on experience in the entire floor house. Only getting to work on one room with one specific situation was great, but not well rounded. The class had a lot of "funny-guys" and "know-it-alls" - This made for a very difficult learning environment and contributed to a lot of information not related to the course/test. Chris did make the information fun and lively and I would take a class with him again in the future (hopefully not with the same group of people in this class). Edgar J.

The test itself had a couple question that were not related to the course and I believe there is a bit of a crossover into the commercial drying course that makes it confusing but overall it's a course I was happy to take.
