I gained a lot of useful information from the IICRC-AMRT certification class I attended in person at the Salt Lake City, UT, Learn to Restore location. Darren and Pat are knowledgeable, experienced, and very helpful throughout the course. I plan to use what I learned here in my water damage and mold remediation business. I highly recommend the IICRC - AMRT 'Learn To Restore' course to everyone in the restoration industry. If you're in this field, you need this course!

The instructor was very experienced and was able to share many personal experiences of restoration, which was very helpful. I did not find the study materials and the presentation very helpful in that they did not align very well. Many of the students, including myself were scrambling to find where in the book the materials shown on the slides were located. In my opinion, the book materials were too "wordy" without section headings, section tabs, bolds, highlights, paragraphs, text size variation, etc. I also felt doing the test with bubble sheets is outdated. Why couldn't we have the option of taking the test online to get faster results. Overall the content of the course was good and I learned what I needed to, but having taken a course recently with one of your competitors, I felt their materials were more conducive to studying and retaining material.
