This IICRC Floor Care Technician (FCT) certification course is designed as an educational and instructional basic hard floor maintenance training class. The course is divided into five segments Establishing the Hard Floor Maintenance Market, Understanding Hard Floor Maintenance, Components of Hard Floor Maintenance, Developing Hard Floor Maintenance and Basic Hard Floor Maintenance Service Procedures. One full day is spent in the classroom; the second day is divided into applied hands-on training and concludes with a written exam for certification.

- Floor Covering Materials
- Chemicals, Tools and Equipment
- Floor Care Principles and Procedures
