Why Should You Take This Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course?
This IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course will cover carpet cleaning "inside & out" and enable you to be confident on every job no matter what the customer asks you or what the cleaning challenges are. Emphasis will be placed on the process and principles of carpet cleaning, how to remove stubborn stains, how to prevent stains from returning, and the chemistry of carpet stains.

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

The CCT course was very good and informative. Our instructor Tom, is a master instructor. Everything he discussed was clear and understandable, and if you had any questions, he would stop, give you the explanation, made sure you understood the process, and would not miss a beat on picking up where he left off.
When he talks about years of experience in this field, you can believe he is giving you the best information. You will find that with this program along with the IICRC guidelines and the instructors expertise you will learn more about carpet cleaning more than you can ever imagine. I took the online class with Tom. He did an outstanding job of explaining everything involved in the CCT class. I went in without prior knowledge of carpet cleaning or carpet cleaning systems. The instructor was very knowledgeable. Personally I like taking these classes in person because I can participate in hands on.in the carpet cleaning class they did burn tests on carpets, not being there was not as good because I couldn't actually smell what the different fabrics smelled like or evaluate the consistency of the ask.Unfortunatly there are not many in person IICRC classes near Albany New York.However it was a good class to take!!! I was reluctant to attend at first. I was not sure I would really learn anything worthwhile. My wife convinced me I would learn something new. Well, I learned so much, my cup ran over. I was surprised at the energy and knowledge of Mr. Cermak. He shared so much more than just words, he has lived this class. He is beyond measure. I was never bored and hung on to every word he said. I never expected what I got in this class. Mr. Cermak provided so much more than a class on carpet cleaning 101. He shared numerous helpful ideas and experiences. He interjected scenarios of situations of which we should be aware and how to handle them in an intelligent, professional manner. His supplied us with tremendous knowledge beyond our textbook, like solutions to many problems that he has already encountered and conquered, some that we are bound to run into in our own businesses. If "knowledge is power", then boy oh boy, did he provide us some power. He allowed us to draw upon his expertise in the field and offered sensible solutions to our concerns, never ignoring a question or issue. His energetic, positive attitude kept us feeling upbeat, never bored. He exudes his genuine desire that we all succeed and imparts on us the feeling that we all can and will, if we put forth the effort. He stressed going beyond the everyday expectations by offering knowledge to our customers and providing more than everyday service. He always follows a "yes" or "no" answer with an explanation, so we can understand why. He is excited to bestow his knowledge on upon us. Beyond the classroom, he offers to be a mentor and resource for anyone who seeks his assistance. If only we could take a clone of him everywhere we go in our carpet cleaning business. I debated whether to take this course online or wait and take it in-person so I was truly apprehensive at first, and I had never taken a course with Thomas Cermak. I Finally decided I had nothing to lose so I registered and took this course. I was pleasantly surprised by Thomas Cermak's in-depth book and practical knowledge coupled with an engaging style which kept the class interesting for the full two days.
