Why Should You Take This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course?
This IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) course is designed to teach the effective, efficient and timely drying of water-damaged structures and contents, using comprehensive classroom and hands-on training, in order to facilitate appropriate decision making within a restorative drying environment.
Emphasis will be placed on teaching applied structural drying techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform these services, while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.
Please Note: This class includes hands-on experience. Please wear shoes that can get wet.

Class Prerequisite: You must have the taken the IICRC WRT (Water Damage Restoration) course. Please bring your IICRC card or proof of taking the exam to class.
IICRC Exam Fees: The ASD certification exam fee is $80; retests will be $80. These fees are in addition to the course registration fee and are paid directly to IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

I had an outstanding experience taking the ASD class with Dr. She is an exceptional instructor with an incredible amount of knowledge and experience. She has a great ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way, making the class both informative and enjoyable.
One of the highlights of the course was the hands-on training in the flood house. Being able to apply what we learned in the classroom to a realistic water damage scenario was extremely valuable and made the entire learning experience even better. She did an excellent job connecting the science and technical aspects of structural drying with real-world applications.
I also want to thank Doug for all his hospitality and attention throughout the course, and especially for taking the time to share his knowledge and experience with us.
Overall, this was an excellent class and one of the most valuable training experiences I’ve had. I definitely walked away with more knowledge, confidence, and a better understanding of advanced structural drying. I highly recommend taking ASD with Dr.! Sammy A.

Holly was fantastic. I learned so much in ASD compared to WRT and that’s because she is such a knowledgeable and wonderful instructor. She made it fun, she answered every single question, and still got us through on time and prepared for the exam. I can’t imagine anyone failing with her as their instructor. Doug & Michelle Snyder were outstanding hosts. The class room is comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed, no glitches! The flood house was perfect.
