This IICRC Upholstery/Fabric Cleaning Technician course presents all of the basic concepts and systems of upholstery and drapery cleaning. The course covers fibers and identification; pre-testing and problems prevention; upholstery and drapery procedures and techniques; and use of chemicals in spotting and after cleaning treatments.

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

Jeff was a great instructor. I liked that not too many videos were shown. I don't like when other instructors just have the students watch these long drawn-out videos that we could probably just find on YouTube ourselves. The videos he did show were short and informative. He was a very engaging instructor. This course is conducted as a live instructor-led webinar. Further details will be provided to you prior to the course.

I started my carpet and upholstery cleaning journey over 40 years ago. I fully understand the challenges of all, since I have been an employee, a manager, and a business owner. I have been instructing, consulting, and traveling internationally since 2002. I teach the Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) and Upholstery Fabric Technician (UFT) classes in both English and Spanish. I also offer the Carpet Cleaning Maintenance Technician (CCMT) Class. I still have my carpet cleaning business in Kansas City. I feel that in this rapidly changing industry, it is important to continually experiment with a variety of cleaning methods, procedures, and new products. I view learning as a lifelong process! I really love teaching!!! Therefore, I have devoted myself to making my virtual classes just as much fun and interactive as the in-person classes. My students receive ongoing support after the class to help reinforce their learning and answer any questions. My goal is to help you gain real world experience while also preparing you to confidently pass the exam!
