The 16-hour Qualified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater (QCIS) Online - Enhanced program trains participants how to inspect and maintain a construction site in compliance with the EPA and State General Permit programs. It covers the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control, pollution prevention, as well as the proper reporting and documentation requirements. It is comprised of five (5) modules and corresponding exams.

This program is designed for those working in CO, CT, DC FL, ID, MA, MN, MT, NH, NM, OH, RI, TX, UT, WI, PR and US Virgin Islands. If you work in AK, AL, DE, GA, MD, MI, NY, OR, SC, TN, VA, or WA, you can take this course for supplemental training however the course is not approved by the state Stormwater Governing Body. For working in CA view the QSP/QSD training. If you work in a state that is not listed previously, please register for the 14-hour version of this program.

The course was very good at speaking of topics that can get quite technical in a way that most would find understandable. The topics within the course are very relevant to the project I am on and now I feel like I have more confidence with being the environmental compliant inspector.
