In this 2-day Certified Pool Operator (CPO) - Spanish course, students will learn the industry standards for operating pools and spas. Many states currently require CPO certification for pool operators, and even more states are in the process of adding this CPO certification requirement. Even in areas where the certification is not required, a Certified Pool Operator knows how to manage pools safer and more efficiently than the average contractor. For many professionals in the pool and spa industry, CPO certification can be the difference between landing the job or not.

This course is administered over the course of two days with an open-book test at the end. This course is taught entirely in Spanish.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will have CPO Certification valid in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Canada and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The certification will be valid for five (5) years.

Congratulations David!*** Turnage & Associates provides public and on-site Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training courses in association with the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF). David Turnage, founder and primary instructor of Turnage & Associates, has extensive hands-on experience in the swimming pool and water chemistry industry. Through positions from Operations Management to Chief Operations Officer, he has been directly involved in the day-to-day workings of various pool services, pool construction, pump room repairs, waste treatment, and water chemistry. He earned his first CPO certification in 2002 and then went on to become an instructor for the NSPF in 2003 to share his extensive industry knowledge with others. Turnage & Associate courses incorporate interactive media along with a bit of wit and humor to help students understand and internalize pool industry concepts. David is passionate about pool management education, and ensures students leave class with a thorough understanding of the sometimes-complex math, theories and realities that are associated with the swimming pool industry. As a member of various chamber, apartment, other pool related associations, and sitting on the committee for the model aquatic health code, David is at the cutting edge of industry trends and regulations.
