This OSHA Outreach Training Program for the Maritime Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the maritime industry. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity. The class was informative and much of it was a refresher from my years in the Navy and doing ship repairs and maintenance.

Brandon was a great instructor! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable in everything related to OSHA and maritime safety,... Brandon was a great instructor! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable in everything related to OSHA and maritime safety, but also, he showed how passionate he was about the subject. He went off on numerous tangents about safety and Workers protection, and although long it really gave us a look into the reality of working in Maritime, and numerous ways on how we can keep ourselves safe.

Engaging, straight to point, and thorough on providing materials to pass the test (including supplemental info if needed).... Engaging, straight to point, and thorough on providing materials to pass the test (including supplemental info if needed). Patricia was a great trainer and would occasionally encourage interaction, including those who might have not spoken up to keep the audience's attention. 20 minute breaks were very generous. The course was smooth overall.

Even though this course was a refresher for me, with 39 years in the shipbuilding industry, the instructors kept me engaged.... Even though this course was a refresher for me, with 39 years in the shipbuilding industry, the instructors kept me engaged. The course material and the flow were very easy to follow, and Brandon's wit and tone made it enjoyable to listen to. It wasn't just a death by PowerPoint presentation.

Time Zone changes based on where the presenter was vs the students made timing and schedule some what awkward but the class was well run with breaks and the instructor was knowledgeable and kept the class room on point and professional.

The instructors did a great job to keep everyone engaged, and I was expecting a slog, when it actually wasn't. The material was made more interesting by the examples and blunt truth of the instructors and I truly believe they did very well to ensure the material got drilled in our heads, and none of it was missed.

Their focus on safety felt genuine, they clearly wanted us to understand the importance of protecting our own well-being, not just meeting requirements. I walked away with valuable knowledge that I'll carry into my work every day. I had a great experience.

Brandon and Ron did an outstanding job teaching the OSHA 10-Hour course. The course was well run, on schedule and the instructors... Brandon and Ron did an outstanding job teaching the OSHA 10-Hour course. The course was well run, on schedule and the instructors ensured to emphasize the importance of the material and key information. In addition, I was especially impressed with Brandon who was the main instructor for the majority of the lessons. I have taken this course several times due to my Company's policy requiring refreshers every 5 years. The material can be extremely dry, however Brandon kept the class engaged and utilized an effective mix of videos, real-life examples, and experiences. He kept the course moving and minimized "rabbit hole" discussions from students. I highly recommend this course, school, and Instructor team.
