This OSHA Outreach Training Program for the Maritime Industry provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the maritime industry. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity. OSHA is not an exciting topic but Brandon’s passion for protecting and teaching the future workers of our shipyards country... OSHA is not an exciting topic but Brandon’s passion for protecting and teaching the future workers of our shipyards country wide made this OSHA10 class not only tolerable but enjoyable. Brandon and guest instructors were all clearly knowledgeable and very articulate in their language. It was professional and friendly. We stuck to the timeline and I can’t imagine anyone having a poor experience with Brandon as an instructor.

I thought this was going to be a bunch of crap but it was actually a good class. I learned a lot and have retained the information... I thought this was going to be a bunch of crap but it was actually a good class. I learned a lot and have retained the information even after a 4-day weekend. A++, would not take again, because I don't need to.

Brandon and company at Metropolitan Solutions have a fantastic class. Lots of real world experience mixed in with the lesson... Brandon and company at Metropolitan Solutions have a fantastic class. Lots of real world experience mixed in with the lesson provided by OSHA. You can tell they're passionate about giving us the best info around to insure the shipyard is a safer place for all. They gave us plenty of breaks and we got out of class everyday on time.

Classes were taught well and were engaging and kept me interested despite being 10 hours over two days. I didn’t feel burnt out at the end of the coarse but rather more informed. Good job!

This class was very good. It was a refresher for me to evaluate if it has value for my service engineers globally who do... This class was very good. It was a refresher for me to evaluate if it has value for my service engineers globally who do some basic fuel and water testing while ships who use our products are in port. My only suggestion is to better clarify "recordable injuries" vs "reportable injuries." While I understand this can be complex, I believe what was presented misrepresented the actual definition.
