This CDPH Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor Initial CA - Virtual combo training trains individuals who will perform lead-based paint inspections and/or clearance examinations on abatement and renovation projects in California.

This course covers federal and state requirements of inspectors when testing for lead hazards. Students will learn to determine whether or not lead-based paint or other lead hazards exist in sufficient quantities to require abatement according to regulatory guidelines.

This class will be conducted as a live, instructor-led webinar during the dates and times listed on the registration EXCEPT for the last two days of class, when students will need to go to the onsite facility to complete the required hands-on and final exam. Students must be available for the full duration of the class dates and times listed. Onsite training will be limited in size and extra precautions will be taken for student and instructor safety.
