It empowers you with all of the tools needed to create professional estimates, as well as to view and manage all your estimating and communication-related activities. Our instruction is geared towards individuals who are insurance adjusters, those who are contractors, or those new or planning to become working adjusters or estimators soon.

Students in this course will be introduced to the techniques and best practices needed to create small- to medium-loss estimates using a variety of Xactimate 28 tools. Students will be taught the most efficient ways to set up, sketch, scope, and deliver professional estimates. All this is done while preparing students for Level 1 certification exams.

Course Prerequisite:  Students of this course should meet the following prerequisites before attending class:

• Basic computer skills
• Using a keyboard and mouse
• Basic typing skills
• Navigating through software application windows
• Understand the Property Loss industry and terminology
• Laptop with Xactimate® 28 installed (purchased or trial software)
• External computer mouse

IMPORTANT: Participants must provide their own computer that meets system requirements. It is recommended that you bring an external mouse. The Xactimate software is required for the course and can be purchased here, or you can download a free 30 day demo trial here.

Certificate:  A certificate of completion will be provided to the student at the end of the course verifying that the training was conducted by an Xactimate® Certified Trainer. A completion certificate is different than an Xactimate® user certification. Xactimate® user certifications are online exams testing your current knowledge of Xactimate® and are available directly from Xactware®.
