IICRC Contents Processing Technician (CPT) Courses
This IICRC Contents Processing Technician (CPT) course is designed to provide an education for technicians in the practice of contents recovery and processing from loss events such as fire, water, mold, and trauma scenes. Specifically, students will learn important inventory, documenting, storage, and pack-back methods for cleaning.
Topics to be Covered: Health and Safety; Contamination Characteristics; Determination of Total Losses; Estimation and Invoicing; Inventory Methods, Process and Reports; Customer Etiquette and Client Communication; Damage Prevention; Efficient Workflow; Contents Cleaning, Restoration & Deodorization; Crew Responsibilities; Pack-back Procedures
IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration

The class was awesome.
I had Mark as my instructor, and he was sharp and professional. Answered any and all questions. Overall I really enjoyed the class. Listening to personal experiences helps me with a better understanding. I would have liked it better if I understood where in the book he was referring to, and going over review questions or letting us know what to read night of. I enjoyed the Contents Processing Technician training course instructed by Rudy! Between his presentation, written material, and hands on activities, I learned many things that I was not aware of before. Rudy was extremely informative and very personable. This course was very beneficial in learning the different salvage techniques/equipment/cleaners to use for different damaged items/materials. Though our team primarily works with damaged paper, we learned a lot of valuable information regarding steps to remediate mold and water damage. Our instructor, James Tole, even took the time to research paper restorability and created a slide specifically for our team. James M.
