IMPORTANT: Online course validity varies by location; it is the student’s responsibility to verify applicability prior to enrollment. You will have 3 DAYS from the date of registration to provide a copy of your previous training certificate to show your eligibility for renewal with BetterCertify. After this period, you can still submit the requested documentation, however, your registration will be non-refundable/non-transferable if you are determined ineligible for the course. Please make sure you have this document available prior to registering for this refresher course.
This course is presented self-paced and 100% online. Students will have 30 days to complete (14 days for AL, MI, and MO students).
Students have the option to download a digital student manual or receive a hard copy in the mail. Upon successful completion, students will receive a digital copy of their refresher certificate within 24-48 hours. Wallet cards and hard copies of the refresher certificate can be added for an additional fee.
Minimum Technical Requirements:

This course is open to individuals who need to renew their AHERA certificate, regardless of whether they require state licensure or not. Students must notify BetterCertify of their intended work location(s) from the available list. In the case a student mentions a location not listed above, they will be enrolled in the course that is most applicable. It is important to note that refunds will not be issued for orders placed more than three days ago for any reason.
This Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Refresher Online course is designed to review key principles taught in the Contractor/Supervisor initial course while providing information regarding regulatory changes and updates to industry-standard work practices.
The Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor is responsible for performing the duties of the OSHA competent person for the asbestos project, consistent with current EPA and OSHA regulations. Any individual who performs supervision of persons permitted to enter the restricted and regulated asbestos abatement work area must comply with Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor certification.
