The content of the material was very good, a lot of great information and practical ways to put things into place. The instructor held your attention but I was concerned that when a person answered something incorrectly she could be kind of insulting. Many people in the class were new in their positions and others just weren't as comfortable being interactive and a few people stated that they felt intimidated to answer anything.

Mixed review..professionally, she was very knowledgable, did a good job of showing the programs and how they could be used in everyday work to maintain and improve compliance. She knew the codes and taught how to use them. She addressed the specifics of MN and IA. Personally, she was not very professional. Some of her comments were insulting to participants who were there to learn. They came because they were brand new and needed help to know where to start and how to do this. The program for sale would have been a huge asset to them but, because of the way they were treated due to their lack of experience I am not sure they wanted to spend time discussing it with the instructor. She intimidated people so they were uncomfortable answering her questions and then berated the whole group for not being aware of the information or knowing the answer. She was argumentative with participants and was not very graceful about recognizing their viewpoint while making sure the education was accurate and withdrawing and moving on to the next topic. Looked over people's shoulders when they were filling out evaluations. She put our names on our evals for us. She actually read mine and asked me about it while I was getting ready to leave. I am okay with that but the two people that I took for the education definitely were afraid she would ask her about what they put down because she was looking at their evals while they were completing them. In conclusion, I always come away with something new or updated or on my to do list, and I did from this opportunity also. I know everyone did not feel the same because they were never connected to the instructor. My table shared that they felt dumber than they did when they came to the class and they came because they knew they needed guidance. Now they were just overwhelmed. It was pointed out throughout the day what they did not know. They were there to learn.

I would not attend another if she is instructor as I felt she was very insulting, to the point some of us did not dare answer a question due to being made fun of. Also when she handed out the evaluations she stated, "please mark me a 10, I would appreciate it!" As we filled them out she stood around us watching us fill them out and when another person from our facility handed hers in she asked her why she commented like she did and asked her to explain. Just not a cordial instructor.

Signed up for public speaking seminar and they talked more about life coaching then they did public speaking. I do believe this class would help some people that were there, but it wasn't what I signed up for. I only stayed for about 2.5 hours of the class before I spoke with the instructor and told her that I did not sign up for the material she was talking about. I do believe the instructor did a good job, but I am very busy and don't have time to waste.

The only thing I didn't like was when I asked the instructor a specific question about how to handle a situation at work, and he just point to his book he was selling and told me to buy it because the answer was in there / I think he wanted his commission... otherwise, fantastic!

I rate the class with 3 stars because I did not realize how basic all of the information in this course would be. Apparently I should have taken the advanced course. I think the description of the course should be more clear because I would not say that I am already a power user but according to what I learned in this class which was only a couple of short cuts then I already am a power user. He did tell us one thing that was wrong that we could use deposit slip info to set up ACH payments and some of his advice wasn't too practical for most of us don't accept responsibility for something without getting the authority to do something about it, which is great advice but not something we often have a choice about. Overall, there was a lot of good info.
