Mike has lots of experience and has contributed significantly to the industry. More time, specificity and instruction could be devoted to assessing and documenting water affected materials and how to properly monitor and adjust drying equipment - real world examples are always good. Also, need better and specific examples of proper photo-documentation. Need less time on day 1 and more time on day 4 materials. Need more info on drying interior wall and floor cavities, especially with insulation. Luis S.

Highly enjoyable experience! The instructor explained the material using real-world examples, which made everything much easier to understand. Their teaching style was both clear and precise, and there was no rushing through any section. This thoughtful pace made it much easier to absorb the skills being taught. I would highly recommend this instructor and would gladly take all my future classes with them again. Chris C.

Handouts would be greatly improved by ensuring they render properly and can be printed for review. Also would benefit from alerting students on day one of registration with the iicrc so test can be taken asap. Connor W.

I am new to this line of work so my eyes were wide open, or I should say "ears wide open." I thought Mike was a great instructor providing an overall education with details and specifics throughout. I enjoyed listening to his professional experiences as he used them to solidify the points he was making. I look forward to attending more of the classes he offers. Normally training can be long and boring, but his were the opposite of that. Alicia W.

Michael is an entertaining educator. I enjoyed his course & the wealth of knowledge he carries; however, his teaching style seemed to be more suitable for individuals of whom have previous experience in the fire restoration field. As someone who doesn’t have fire restoration experience, I would’ve appreciated a teaching style that could’ve been more effective for a first timer. Still, a good experience nevertheless. Thank you. He sets high expectations for the class and makes his knowledge available to students even after the course has ended.
