Jean Cipriano has a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture. She is a member of ASID, and is a LEED AP. Jean has been the principal of her own firm for over 25 years and has consulted on projects for major corporations and universities. She always infuses her work with awareness and regard for the environment, and applies this philosophy toward the inhabitants of the buildings and spaces she designs. Even before becoming a LEED AP, these were her priorities in planning. Jean has instructed adults in all aspects of Interior Architecture, seeking to initiate, create and advance the philosophy of sustainability. Her intent is to bring awareness to the subject of sustainability and to integrate it into all of her opportunities as an instructor.
Jean enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and kayaking. While enjoying her time outdoors she's usually accompanied by her family and canine friend - a beautiful Westy named Sky.

Going through slides, discussing what type of questions will be on the exam, and why various LEED standards are pre-requisite versus credit points was helpful. However, the stream did break up a few times and sometimes was hard to hear. Mohamad Ali R.

I felt Jean did a tremendous job leading this course. She was articulate & was incredibly knowledgeable on the subject. We went through a bunch of information in the 1-day course but Jean did a great job explaining all of the important, relevant data & made me feel at ease with the topics. The class was presented in two days. The form is well structured, and the instructor possessed the necessary knowledge. Understandably, due to time constraint the material was presented in fast-paced sessions. Looking through the study booklet I find it sometimes difficult to follow the links/ relationships. I enjoyed the course, Jean was great! Very helpful and took the time to answer any questions anyone had. I will say that one thing that was confusing at times was when using the word "certification", I didn't know whether she was talking about the LEED GA or specialties or the certification that an actual building gets to be a green building.
