Sandy was an amazing instructor! She was able to relay all important information in a fun and engaging way, was always ready to answer any questions or help explain things more in depth, and just overall was able to create a great classroom environment over zoom. I was a little hesitant to take an on-line class only because I learn better hands on. Sandy had no idea I was a retired Type 1 Haz-Mat Captain for the Bakersfield Fire Department for 32 years. I listened in to see if she was blowing smoke on all the chemistry that is taught in this class. I have to say that Sandy has got to be one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have had the pleasure of taking a class with. If you're looking to take this class, Sandy's humor and quick wittedness makes the class a fun place to be. Although having to sing (Here we are to save the day by Mighty Mouse has not left my brain yet). All in all, great job Sandy and Thank You. Garrett Pacheco, Stop Restoration Bakersfield. stuart m.

Sandy is the real deal. 40+ years in restoration and it shows — she doesn't just teach the material, she teaches you how to think about the material. The class is structured well, the content is relevant, and she takes the time to engage with every student individually, even in an online format.
I came in with an operations background and left with a completely different understanding of water damage science. Highly recommend Horizon Educational Seminars for anyone serious about this industry.

She was very good. I liked how she stayed on topic and didn't go into a bunch of "war stories". I would definitely use them for future classes for my employees. Brandon K.

I attended the OCT course through Horizon Educational Seminars and Sandy was the instructor. The manual was very well put together and was easy to follow. Sandy was extremely knowledgeable and presented the information in a way that kept you engaged and wanting to learn more. She had the entire class engaged by prompting open discussion from the students and sprinkling in some jokes to liven the room. I have taken many IICRC courses and would say that Sandy was definitely one of the better instructors that I had. Thanks Sandy and the rest of the Horizon team for a well put together course. Sandy was amazing — I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor on the subject. She brought years of experience and knowledge to the table and was able to clearly educate us on the correct practices and procedures, while also pointing us toward additional courses to further our knowledge and expertise. She made the class fun, engaging, and inviting. Christopher B.

I was very new to this carpet training class, and I did get some knowledge out of it. I think the only thing that would have made it a five star was some hands-on experience, but iI understand that was imposable to do, but still a very good course. Parris R.

The class has a lot of important knowledge, but the timing for the class does not suit the information. I believe it is very crucial to spend more time learning these important topics to actually thoroughly understand all aspects of the content. Other than that, I did learn and enjoyed furthering my knowledge Joshua V.
