I believe our instructor for this course is very knowledgeable and made the sessions very interactive and interesting that facilitated quite a bit of learning in such a short duration.

When I entered the academy day one I was nervous. I have over 30 years in HVAC but in doing the reading assignments ahead of time it became clear BPI was very different. Our instructor, worked hard on both the hands-on and the class time to make sure we understood both sides and were comfortable with everything. He is a man of integrity who does whatever it takes to make certain the students are ready. I highly recommend this academy.

Class was informative and structured to a pace that we all had a chance to absorb the finer details. Mr. John Abels did well as an instructor as well as the delivery portion of the subject matter. I recommend and would like to have John for another seminar. Nice work!

My two day course was a success. John Aberle was the instructor. We covered a lot of information but John's knowledge, experiences and stories helped me to visualize real life situations. I was educated and entertained. I took the exam 3 days after my course ended and I'm happy to report that I passed! I recommend Zack Academy/John for anyone thinking of taking the exam.

The instructor, Joan, is very knowledgeable about the material, about the test and helpful when it came to prioritizing information to study. She was also skillful in managing the class dynamics with frequent breaks and group activities to keep us all attentive.

As I expressed to Joan in the class, I was very surprised at how she took a topic (course) that I anticipated being boring, into a really interesting course. Her teaching methods kept me engaged, which in turn helped me remember the majority of the information that was being presented. After I pass my green associates exam, I would be really interested in taking the AP prep-course with Joan.

Very informative, Joan was able to connect to everyone in the class. This was great because it made me a college student, feel just as valuable to class discussion to other professionals working in the field. The review manual handout was very informative and a way to understand the structure of LEED categories, credits and points. Alicia demonstrated a profound working knowledge of the LEED course and instructing how to navigate through each section. Examples are imperative and she delivered them very well. Adding a little more humor along the way will make it more fun to learn the material.

greta class I would change the book a bit by coordinating the slides. 1 the slides with centered items are hard to read...register to the left and put bullets to delineated easily. 2the slides that list credits and prerequisites also need to be revamped to put headings and separate the two. 3 put test questions in the book and have a beep when they go up on the screen. 4 I read some of the questions wrong so it may help to go over those tricky set ups that have you looking for the wrong thing.

Great course, only change would be to make the book the students get match the slides Joanna used. Her slides seemed more coherent that the book.

Not only the training was quite good, the trainer was very friendly. I did not feel uncomfortable at any moment during the training. I will take the LEED AP course soon as soon as from the same provider I am done with the LEED GA exam.

The exam prep was a good beginning on prepping for the exam, however I do wish we had more opportunity to discuss actual exam questions and test strategies. Scott Hoover facilitator was knowledgeable on the course topic and provided some insight on the upcoming test. I would recommend both the exam prep class and Scott to anyone thinking about obtaining this certification.

Joan was fantastic. She's funny and keeps the class engaged. She not only works on the actual test material, but also outlines test taking strategies to help apply the information to the test. She also offers to be a full resource for her students as they continue to study and provides a great system of practice quizzes, practice tests, study aids, etc.

USGBC does a terrible job of outlining and preparing you for the LEED GA exam. This class does a wonderful job of giving you a high level overview and giving you the tools you need to study and pass the LEED GA exam. The instructor was generally knowledgeable about LEED v4.

Scott Hoover was very personable and asked us a lot of questions and was patient with our questions. My only complaint was that the printed material and the slide presentation were not the same and it threw him off several times.
