Clear Advantage LLC was founded in 2006 by Ed Price for the purpose of providing Certified Pool Operator and related training courses within the aquatics industry. Clear Advantage LLC provides courses for the public, private courses for companies and organizations seeking to complete the program for their teams, as well as individual courses utilizing the Pool Operator Primer approach. Ed's pool experience began in 1985 working for a Portland, Maine area builder while still in high school. Throughout the next nine years, he worked in every phase of the business including building, service, and retail. In January of 1995, Ed joined a swimming pool manufacturing company as Regional Sales Director for Northern New England. In 2004, the company recognized a need to better serve the water chemistry demands of the pool market and Ed was promoted to the position of Chemical Programs Manager. During the following months, a chemical program was developed and launched and a wide scale education initiative was put in place. Ed’s unique and comprehensive view of the swimming pool and spa industry is supported by several formal education programs, professional development seminars, and training certifications including his status as a Certified Pool Operator Instructor.   In addition, working as an adjunct instructor for Husson University affords access to the most up to date teaching and learning techniques to further enhance the learning experience.
