Chem Scope, Inc was founded in 1979 in New Haven, CT as an environmental testing and consulting firm. Our field capability includes a full range of air monitoring and building inspection equipment, along with six microscopy laboratories. Our staff members have a reputation for accessibility and prompt service and are licensed Industrial Hygiene Professionals and Connecticut Licensed/Certified Asbestos Project Monitors, Asbestos and Lead Inspectors, and Asbestos and Lead Project Designers.

Both instructors were very knowledgable and made it easy to refresh the knowledge to successfully pass the refresher exam! We'll all be back next year, as well as all refresher courses as needed.

I felt that this four hour refresher course was more relevant to what I do than the initial eight hour course I took five years ago. Although, granted, there is different information available now. The instructor, Brian, created a welcoming and open atmosphere in the classroom. He encouraged questions, comments and stories which helped everyone gain a better understanding of the course material.

I think this was a great refresher course. A lot has changed in five years which leads me to believe this should continue to be mandatory if not every five years maybe every three. The instructor Brian was great and super informative. He definitely knew what he was doing which was great. He was extremely professional and definitely had patience. I would want to enroll in his class the next time I need to take this course.

For a 4 hour course, the first 2 seemed to be a total waste with introductions running for the first hour and a half. Plus we spent another hour talking about osha and other items that did not apply. Also if you are going to run a class from 10 to 2 offer something better for lunch then bad coffee and a granola bar.
