The Arkansas Environmental Training Academy (AETA) is the designated Environmental Training Center for the State of Arkansas and is a training division of Southern Arkansas University Tech in Camden, AR. Our staff is authorized by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), United States Department of Transportation (US DOT), Hazardous Materials Training Research Institute (HMTRI), Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE) and the Community College Consortium for Health & Safety Training (CCCHST) to provide EHS training. We are able to develop site specific modules to meet the training needs of our clients' facilities if necessary.

The instructors are very knowledgeable on all the topics in the training course both theoretical as well as applications. Instructional materials are very sufficient and relevant to the courses being presented on the training. Very good in encouraging participants to work as a team.

Steve Neal is awesome!!! Very knowledgeable about the OSHA rules and regulations, very safety conscious. He made the class a fun, but learning experience. Training and testing was complete and fairly good way of learning what might happen in an Haz Mat emergency.
