This EPA Lead Dust Sampling Technician Certification Initial Access Training Course is outstanding! The information provided/taught exceeded my expectations and totally prepared me to put my newly acquired knowledge and skills to work immediately. This course was very informative. The instructors took their time to thoroughly explain the material and make sure no student was left behind. Answered all my questions and concerns, while making it a top priority to give me reasoning and background regarding answers provided. I couldn't ask for more or look for more. Thank you for this course. I learned a lot. I do think having the different instructors had its advantages and limitations. I was able to learn form 4 individuals with different experiences which is wonderful. However, there tended to be a lot of repetition because each of the instructors addresses the same material. I did feel that the on-hands component of the course did not meet my expectations. I feel underprepared to go into a home and conduct a visual inspection. The dust wipe component was very well done. However, I am very pleased with the theoretical information that I gained. Brian S.

This is a difficult class to instruct as the information is dry, takes a long time, much of the required information is already covered in the pre-requisite classes (BI and MP refreshers). Also, most of the attendees have taken this course 25+ times, so the subject matter is not new to any of us. This is not the fault of Mark the instructor, it is because of the required training components as mandated by the regulations. Despite these challenging hurdles, Mark makes the best of the situation and is able to keep the attention of the trainee with subtle humor, relevant discussions, and real-live examples. He makes the otherwise dry and boring class somewhat enjoyable! Thomas M.

Depending on your background knowledge, a lot of info in 3 days. If you're new to this subject, may be tough to follow. But if you have some basic knowledge it's easier to follow and helped me better understand what my consultants are looking for when collecting samples and accessing the work. Michaela M.

All in all it was a very good experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and was able to answer questions from the group. He kept the training flowing and did not fall behind. The practical portion of the training was very well demonstrated and easy to follow. The addition of short videos aided to the material.
The facility was clean and the staff was very friendly.
