The Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (CESCL) course is responsible for providing technical oversight of the installation and maintenance of construction stormwater best management practices (BMPs). This course enables participants to conduct inspections and document the condition of stormwater BMPs in accordance with the Washington Construction Stormwater General Permit (CSWGP). Participants will also sample stormwater and report results as required by the Washington CSWGP. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the job requirements of a CESCL as outlined in the Washington CSWGP and BMP C160 of the Western Washington Stormwater Management Manual.
