Trenching and Excavation Awareness - Online is a 20-minute course that covers the principles of trenching and excavation hazards on the job site. Along with learning how to stay safe around excavation and trenching sites, students will also learn about the various safety equipment that is required. Among the other topics covered are the capacity to identify different trenching hazards, strategies for reducing these risks, and the function of the competent person in trench safety. The student is tasked with inspecting a recently constructed trench for any potential hazards that could cause the trench to collapse in an interactive simulation.
