Scaffolding Awareness - Online is a 15-minute course that outlines the fundamentals of scaffolding and the hazards involved with it. This course identifies the numerous causes of scaffolding falls. Additional subjects include the duty of the competent person, identify unsafe construction conditions and danger on elevated platforms. While adhering to OSHA Standards: 1926.95,.451,.454,.503, Subpart L and industry best practices, the student will investigate various control strategies for falling objects, electrical systems and collapse hazards. In an interactive simulation, the student will explore a working construction site and spot typical scaffolding related hazards.
