Caught-In and Caught-Between Awareness - Online is a 20-minute course that highlights the fundamental risks associated with caught-in or caught-between situations, which are frequent on construction sites. Unguarded machinery and the hazards associated with it, as well as their mitigation strategies are also covered. Students will learn how to recognize scenarios that could lead to workplace injuries, how to avoid them and how to prevent them. Through an interactive simulation of a construction site, the student is led through a series of dangerous tasks involving numerous caught-in and caught-between threats. Students will be able to prevent workplace accidents, identify and evaluate risks embedded in and between objects, and exercise caution when operating large machinery.
