Corporate Training By Zack Academy - 4-Hour Silica Hazard Awareness

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Comply with OSHA's new training requirements for employees on silica hazards in the workplace! As of September 23, 2017, employers in the construction industry must train workers on silica risks and how to limit exposures.

This 4-Hour Silica Hazard Awareness is designed to educate workers who may encounter and potentially disturb silica on the jobsite. This program provides training on respirator protection, exposure limits, exposure control plans, expectations of competent persons, and how to monitor exposure on the job site.

Exposure to silica is known to cause respiratory diseases such as bronchitis and lung cancer. However, these illnesses can be prevented if workers protect themselves when working with silica hazards.
