This two-day IAQA Mold Worker/Technician Program is designed to give mold remediation workers/technicians an introduction to the core concepts of indoor environmental remediation along with detailed instruction and hands-on activities specific to mold remediation. From the front line worker up to the owner anyone can benefit from attending this course for indoor environmental workers/technicians with emphasis on mold remediation.

Course attendees receive a Certificate of Completion from the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and/or IAQ Training Institute, LLC. This course is also designed to prepare individuals for the American Council for Accreditation Certification (ACAC) Certified Residential Mold Remediator (CRMR) exam.

Day One

Day Two

Day Two is primarily a hands-on day that emphasizes the importance of effective communication as well as techniques designed to increase productivity. Hands-on activities are conducted in an environment that encourages safe work practices.

  • Cleaning Tips/Anti-microbials

  • Hands on activities included, Tape and Fasteners, Working with Polyethylene
  • Equipment Installation, Emergency Procedures, Mini and Full-containment Construction, Removing or Cleaning Contaminated Materials, Decontamination Procedures, Waste Disposal, Final Clean-up and Tear-down

Please Note:  At the completion of Day-Two, course attendees will take a written or oral 30 question multiple choice and true/false exam. Attendees achieving a score of 70% or better will be eligible to receive the IAQA course completion certificate and/or IAQTI Certificate of completion.
