EHR 100:  Electronic Health Records

This Electronic Health Records course provides students with a practical understanding of an electric health records specialist's important role. Students will progress through Spring Charts used to gather patient information, schedule appointments, select codes, and more. Other learning objectives including: understanding healthcare informatics, performing daily operations of the medical office environment, and gaining basic knowledge of HIPAA and the legal aspects of healthcare. Clock Hours:  48

Exam:   At the completion of this program, graduates will be eligible to sit for the Certified Electronic Health Records Specialist (CEHRS) certification exam offered by the National Healthcare Association.
