Corporate Training By Zack Academy - LEED AP-Building Design + Construction Exam Prep - 2 Day

COURSE DESCRIPTION

THIS LEED AP EXAM PREP COURSE IS FULLY UPDATED FOR LEED VERSION 4.0!

This 2-day LEED AP BD+C Exam Prep Seminar will prepare you to become an expert in green building and the LEED certification process as a LEED AP with a specialization in USGBC's Green Building Design and Construction Rating System. The BD+C Rating System is the most utilized in LEED projects, and is applicable for most new construction or major renovations of a commercial, institutional or high-rise residential project. This seminar thoroughly prepares candidates for the LEED AP BD+C credentialing exam, covering the point structure and requirements of every applicable LEED credit, while preparing students for the testing environment.

Why should you attend this seminar?

1) The LEED AP BD+C credentialing exam tests individuals on the extensive, highly technical information found in USGBC's BD+C Reference Guide. This course highlights the most important information you need to tackle for the exam, and provides you with a clear study path and strategy for success.

2) Our seminars are an interactive, intimate and intense collaborative learning experience including analysis of real-world examples of LEED principles and certified projects; study techniques that will help you become exam-prepared in as little as 30 hours; supplementary study materials; ongoing phone/email support from your instructor until your test date; and more!

3) All AIA members who attend the seminar will receive 14.0 HSW credits (4 of which satisfy the Sustainable Design requirement)! Non-AIA members can use our certificate of completion for self-reporting the 14 education hours.

Please note: in order to earn the LEED AP BD+C credential, you must also pass the LEED Green Associate exam either before or on the same day as your LEED AP BD+C exam. With the LEED v4 changes, LEED project experience is no longer a pre-requisite to take the LEED AP+ exam.

Overview:

The purpose of this course is to familiarize the individual with the required information for the LEED AP BD+C Exam as a supplement to individual preparation. We start with an overview of the LEED Rating Systems and then proceed to detail the individual areas of focus. "Real world" examples are used throughout and the instructor will organize the complicated rating systems into a simple and easy to follow dialogue. The session concludes with credit synergies and relationships. Students will leave class with a "road map" to guide the remainder of their studies.
