Why Should You Take This LEED AP BD+C Exam Prep - 6 Week Course?

The LEED AP BD+C Exam Prep Seminar will prepare you to become an expert in green building as a LEED AP with a specialization in USGBC's Green Building Design and Construction Rating System. The BD+C Rating System is the most utilized in LEED projects, and is applicable for most new construction or major renovations of a commercial, institutional or high-rise residential project. This seminar thoroughly prepares candidates for the LEED AP BD+C credentialing exam, covering the point structure and requirements of every applicable LEED credit, while preparing students for the testing environment.

Prerequisites: 

This course is recommended for individuals who have passed the Green Associate Exam, or who plan to take the combined GA/AP exam. Please note that GBCI requires that you have experience working on a LEED-registered project prior to applying for the LEED AP BD+C exam, however, there are no pre-requisites for taking this preparatory course.

Meet the Instructors:

Alison Y. Rivenburgh, LEED AP BD+C is the CEO of Sustainable Perspectives Group (SPG).  Alison earned her LEED AP in 2002 and has been educating and consulting for green building for 10 years. Since 2004, she has been working with clients to facilitate the LEED certification process. Alisonhas an extensive background in human ecology and sustainable practices. Shehas provided green building and LEED Consulting services on several schools and government projects in the San Antonio area providing an in-depth knowledge green building best practices and policy development ranging from indoor environmental quality to energy efficiency.

Jennifer Woods, LEED AP BD+C moved to San Antonio in 2010 and joined Sustainable Perspectives Group as the Sustainable Operations Manager in 2011.  Prior to joining SPG, Jennifer owned and operated a construction consulting company that specialized in construction cost estimating, specification writing and project management on a national basis.
