The course includes 6 modules:

  • Module 1 – Introduction & RESNET
  • Module 2 – HERS Rater Guiding Principles (Building Science Basics)

  • Module 4 – Modeling & The HERS Index
  • Module 5 – HERS and The International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
  • Module 6 – Final Exam

 

The first five modules include learning resources and module quizzes. Each item within the module must be complete to progress in the course. The sixth and final module is an exam.

EnergyLogic will issue a certificate upon successful completion of all the materials in the course and exam. The HERS Advisor course has been approved for 0.50 continuing education credits by ICC.
