COURSE DESCRIPTION

Why Should You Attend This Course?

This course involves four hour continuing educational units for Westchester County Electrical License Holders. It is for persons engaged in the installation, erection, maintenance, alteration or repair of any wire, cable, conduit, busway, raceway, support, insulator, conductor, appliance, apparatus, fixture or equipment that generates, transforms, transmits or uses electrical energy for light, heat, power or other purposes.

 

Course Objectives:

  • To review the Westchester County Licensing Laws
  • To introduce the License Holders to acceptable standards in the industry
  • To provide the License Holder with a review of NFPA 70-2008 and N.Y.S. Code
  • To review work safety in the workplace

 

Students are required to bring the following to class:

  • All ACTIVE license holders will have to show their current license and another ID. 
  • All SHELVED license holders will have to show two ID’s – One will have to be a photo ID.
  • Anyone not providing the mandated identification documents will not be permitted to attend the class, as described in Rule 15 Revised 3-11-14 
  • Their own 2008 NEC Code Book
