This Alabama Homebuilders 6 Hour CEU Package course provides Alabama contractors with two continuing education courses in one. Students will participate in the 2-hour required law "Business Basics" course and the 4-hour elective "The Foundations of Plan Reading" course.
The "Business Basics" course provides Alabama contractors with a comprehensive overview of the rules surrounding contracting business in the state of Alabama. This course covers the regulations for licensing, business organization, and labor laws that must be observed.
The "Foundations of Plan Reading" course will train students to identify the various symbols included in any residential blueprint, gain a broad understanding of the methodology behind successful plan reading and implement the use of blueprints when bidding and completing a project.
