This Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Course is for students seeking Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certifications. This PMI approved training program provides skills necessary to pass the PMI PMP certification exam. Project Management Professional certification demonstrates the capability of planning and managing large projects including initiation, execution, developing, budgeting, and closing the project on-time.

The PMI PMP program follows all 6 domains including social and professional responsibility and the code of ethics. We cover the new testing requirements to include real world practices based on experience. The training also follow project management areas and includes hands-on, instructor led classes with limited class size with up to 15 students, offering more individual attention and customized training. Time management, cost management, scope management, integration, and quality management are covered in the short term 5 day training program. 

Students will learn the fundamentals of project management: planning, developing, deploying, and completing a project. These skills will be highlighted with software training in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Visio. These industry-recognized certifications are promoted through the Project Management Institute and will benefit those continuing or beginning their project management career.

Please Note: To apply for the PMP exam, you will need to have either:

  1. A four year degree and at least three years of project management experience, with 3500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education; OR
  2. A secondary diploma (high school) with at least five years of project management experience with 7500 hour s leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education
