This Western Regional Healthy Housing Conference will bring together professionals from health, housing, community development, community groups, facilities, advocacy organizations, real estate firms, businesses and industry to explore ways to undertake programs and projects designed to prevent incidents of lead poisoning and eliminate indoor environmental hazards.

This regional conference devoted to lead and healthy housing issues that can help bring about the elimination of childhood lead poisoning and the elimination of indoor environmental hazards through primary prevention methods, health education, child screening programs, and regulatory enforcement.

 

Intended Audience:

The conferences bring together professionals from health, housing, community development, community groups, advocacy organizations, the lead industry, real estate firms, and residential and commercial facilities to explore ways to undertake programs and projects designed to prevent incidents of lead poisoning, eliminate indoor environmental hazards, and create healthy living and working environments.

A block of rooms has been reserved at a special conference rate of $149 single or double.

Driving Directions:

From the North and Downtown Denver take I-25 south to Arapahoe Road, turn east on Arapahoe Road, drive approximately 1 mile to Havana Street and turn right, make a right at the first light onto Costilla Avenue. 

From the South and Colorado Springs take I-25 north to Arapahoe Road, turn east on Arapahoe Road, drive approximately 1 mile to Havana Street and turn right, make a right at the first light onto Costilla Avenue. 

The hotel is 30 minutes from Denver International Airport and just minutes from Centennial Airport.

 

Two Room Suites:

The hotel features two room suites that include a bedroom and a separate living room. Each suite includes either one king size or two double beds, sofa bed, dining area, work desk, wet bar, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, two flat screen TVs.

 

Recreational Facilities:

Indoor pool and Jacuzzi and a Precor Fitness Center are available.
