Corporate Training By Zack Academy - Habitat X 2014 Summer National - The Home Performance Think Tank

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Why Should You Register For The Habitat X 2014 Summer National - The Home Performance Think Tank?

Habitat X has become THE home performance think tank. You can join this talented group of Home Performance professionals and guide the evolution of your industry. You will super-charge your career by attending this event.

We convene these far-ranging discussions each day of the Conference. You'll be engaged in an active role. You'll learn from the experts and participate in the dialogue. This integrated program is why Habitat X has gathered such a faithful following of industry leaders.

This is an interactive and hands-on event -- you will spend four days working alongside other motivated and well-placed home performance professionals. You'll go on potent and fun field trips. You'll share your knowledge, learn about your industry, and develop your own skills. You will go home prepared to launch a new phase in your work.

We’ve worked diligently with industry stakeholders to develop our strongest program ever for the 2014 Summer National Conference. It’ll follow three distinct tracks with topics of relevance to anyone who works in the field of home performance, sustainable housing, or renewable energy. Unlike most professional conferences, we don’t just put out a call for presenters and take whoever shows up. We build the program from scratch each year to create the most fulfilling professional training imaginable.

Intended Audience:

This event attracts the best and brightest players from all sectors of the home performance, green building, and weatherization industries, including:

  • Teachers and Trainers
  • Business Owners
  • Program Managers
  • Sales People

The Habitat X Summer National Program:

We’ve built this year’s program from the ground up to help every participant reach important benchmarks of personal and professional achievement in these areas:

  • Leadership and Communication
  • Business and Market Transformation
  • Training Tools and Techniques

You can pick and choose from among these tracks, or follow a single track the entire week. But we guarantee one thing: you will go home with the tools to boost your career and power your business to the next level.

This year’s Summer National Conference will be held at the incomparable Chico Hot Springs. It’s tucked away in Montana’s Paradise Valley, just a few miles North of Yellowstone National Park.

This event is pre-approved for 16 credits through the Building Performance Institute.

Panel Discussions:

The Habitat X Conferences hinge around the daily panel discussions. We moderate these free-ranging and inclusive dialogues to draw from the expertise within the group. We develop these panels up to a year in advance, following late-breaking trends and assuring that we have pre-eminent experts in the room. But these panel discussions often take on a life of their own, as we learn about the expertise of each conference participant and we build the final list of panelists. And this inclusive approach defines the Habitat X Conferences — because everyone is a participant, and no one sits in the back of the room!

Field Trip:

We’ll visit the B Bar Ranch as an optional field trip during 2014 Summer National. This half day field trip will give us the opportunity to experience a unique version of what is best described as “wild west sustainability.” We’ll think you’ll be impressed with how they’ve woven together high-performance construction, photovoltaics, solar thermal and wind generation to keep their operating humming. Lunch will be provided on this scenic and savory field trip. Ranch-raised organic beef and vegetables are features of their healthy and diverse menus.
