This course on Carpet Care and Marketing will emphasize the value of keeping carpeting in good condition. Modern carpeting is mostly composed of long-lasting synthetic fibers. Students will gain an understanding of how carpeted flooring, as opposed to hard surface floors, can retain a large amount of dirt and pollutants before they become apparent. Participants taking this course must dress appropriately for training in practical skills. Open-toed shoes are not permitted for hands-on activities.
