This Restoration Xactimate Training will teach students how to write restoration project estimates more effectively. The student will learn how to use the program and generate Xactimate bills for a variety of projects, including fire, sewage, mold, and water. By the end of the course students will learn how to use Xactimate to modify models, create scaled diagrams, and send estimates and professional print reports. This course will enhance your sketching abilities and give you insights into the third-party review process. It will also cover how to help with collections.

Course Objectives:

• Use the 4-step estimating process to quickly create a project, review your estimate, and export.
• Using construction concepts to create interior and roofing diagrams in Sketch.
  Changing material pricing, adding miscellaneous and bid items, and/or material analysis line items.
• Boost your estimating efficiency by estimating graphically with Sketch!
  Identifying and effectively utilizing keyboard shortcuts.
• Adding, organizing, and annotating images for greater clarity and detail.
• Using the reference area and reference block properties to influence estimate calculations.
• Flooring tool selection for calculating carpet waste, changing roll direction, and displaying flooring cuts.
• Inspecting your estimate to detect and resolve scoping overlap, omission, and duplication issues.
• Delivering estimate reports in the most appropriate formats for your clients (both internal and external).
