This Personalities in the Workplace workshop teaches the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, a categorization of behavioral preferences based on a person’s innate tendency to (a) recharge their energy either in the company of others or else in solitude; (b) focus on either sensory input or imaginative speculation; (c) make decisions based on either logic or emotion; and (d) be either highly organized or free-flowingly spontaneous.
Participants undergo the Myers-Briggs assessment, and listen to an explanation of the origins of the MBTI and its components. They are then put through a series of exercises to help them understand themselves and their colleagues, and the communication modalities that will best help them be understood in the work environment.
