Corporate Training By Zack Academy - Introduction to Digital Marketing Online Anytime

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Introduction to Digital Marketing Online Anytime course consists of three live one-hour lessons held over a period of one week, where no prior knowledge is required, making this the ideal starting point for anyone even remotely interested in learning about Digital Marketing of all types, be it for themselves or as a profession. The first two lessons are scheduled live, while the last is available on-demand.

The three live one-hour webinars include:

1. An Introduction to Digital Marketing

  • We ask the question as to whether Online Marketing actually works, and is its effectiveness comparable across all business sectors and different industries? We also ask whether the more successful types often techniques can easily be employed? More importantly, we provide answers to these questions! We also explain how traditional methods to obtain a tried and tested practical understanding of these straight-forward techniques in order to exploit the opportunities in the digital space are extremely cumbersome. More troublesome is that traditional techniques are not really relevant to today’s business environment.

The main practical methods are introduced during this lesson, and we openly discuss the importance of marketing goals and alignment with business and sales requirements.

We finally dispel some common misconceptions, we explain the industry buzzwords, and we present some simple online marketing rules

    2. Social Media and Online Reputation Management

    • We are all likely to be somewhat familiar with social media websites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and Google+. Whether you love them, or avoid them like the plague, they are certainly here to stay. Even if you are not a fan, you simply cannot argue with their sheer size and the scope of their audience. Facebook alone has well over 1 billion users, and 10 million advertisers… and this is still just the tip of the iceberg. The potential of social media from a marketing perspective is almost limitless.

In this lesson, we look at how businesses can effectively maximize social media opportunities. We explain how to build social assets, and then how to keep them relevant and updated without overloading valuable business resources. We also introduce useful software which can automate a lot of the work.

Online Reputation Management (ORM) is also discussed; more specifically how to deal with negative reviews published in online forums. This lesson is a must for anyone aiming to make an impact on business marketing in the 21st Century.

      3. Blogging and Content Creation

      • This final introductory class will look at the benefits of blogging on your site. We will explain exactly what a blog is, how it impacts SEO (search engine optimization), how it can be a necessary addition to your site and what hidden benefits there are to having a regularly updated blog posting area. We will also go through the different types of blogs, how to create them, how to host them as well as some of the most popular tools out there for managing them.

We will use real examples of successful blogs already out there, and discuss how blogs can fit into our overall Digital Marketing Strategy.

We will further discuss how regularly updating specific elements on your webpage with new and unique content are not only critical to successful search engine optimization, but can in fact be the very cornerstone of your websites digital marketing presence. We discuss some common pitfalls that are all too often not known, or have been forgotten or even ignored.

Students will be able to catch up with any lecture whenever the time fits for them, as each lecture is recorded as they are broadcasted. Each video is available to the student within 24 hours of each lecture concluding and will be available for unlimited access for up to 12 days after the entire course has been completed.

This course will also provide weekly quizzes in order to self-assess your progress. These are completely voluntary and a fantastic revision tool. Only live courses have weekly quizzes. Upon course completion, a final assignment will be made available.
