                  • Learn about why you should wholly embrace your own opinion when creating content for your blog. We look at the components of your blog that will compel your audience to return for a second and third visit. You will learn to control your tone and look at adding character to your content. We'll show you how to connect with your audience, become an authority and trusted source, and teach you how to resonate with your audience.

                  8. How To Monetize Your Blog

                  • Blogs are no longer a diary for your thoughts as they have become a real viable source of income. We take a look at the various ways that you can monetize your blog and at some of those that have already done so. We'll explain advertising within your blog, sponsored content, cross promotion, guest writing, and building a loyal readership and product promotion.

                  9. Managing a Community of Online Followers

                  • Once your blog is starting to gather a little pace, and you can see that you are gaining traction with an audience, we look at why we should engage with that audience. When you are creating interesting and compelling content, there will be both advocates and critics of your opinions and content. We look at some examples of great communication dealing with some of negative commentary. We'll teach you how to handle negative comments, engagement, and the emergence of the person behind the blog.

                    Students will be able to catch up with any lecture whenever the time fits for them, as each lecture is recorded as they are broadcasted. Each video is available to the student within 24 hours of each lecture concluding and will be available for unlimited access for up to 12 days after the entire course has been completed.

                    This course will also provide weekly quizzes in order to self-assess your progress. These are completely voluntary and a fantastic revision tool. Only live courses have weekly quizzes. Upon course completion, a final assignment will be made available.

                    Each student can participate using their own computer, either Mac or Windows devices will suffice. Live lessons are not essential in order to pass diploma courses as each student can view the recordings in their own time and pace.
