The Silica for the Exposed General Industry Worker course is designed to inform individuals of the essential elements of OSHA’s new Respirable Crystalline Silica standard found in 29 CFR 1910.1053 and covers the basics of Silica Dust and Respirable Crystalline Silica Dust encountered during general industrial activities. 

Upon successful completion, students will receive a course completion certificate and earn 0.1 CEU.

    • Understand specific control measures employers may implement to protect workers from tasks at which employees are commonly exposed; strategies identified could include engineering controls, work practices and respirators
