Safe Lifting in Construction Environments Online Courses

This Safe Lifting in Construction Environments course is approximately 30 minutes in length and provides entry-level training on ergonomic safety when lifting or carrying objects on a worksite. Students will the mechanics of preparing for a lift and safely carrying objects. 

Students must pass the course exam with a score of 80% or higher. Upon successful completion of this course and exam, students will receive a course certificate.

Topics to be Covered: Types of Lifting Hazards; Physical Principles of Safe Lifting Practices; Safe Lifting Techniques; OSHA 1926 Subpart H; OSHA 29 CFR 1903.1

Note: Students have thirty (30) days from the time of first login to complete this online course. Students must complete all course modules and earn an 80% or higher to receive their course certificate and continuing education credit. This course is approximately one 30 minutes in length.
