This course does not provide the hands-on portion required for licensure. This course provides the CT required certificate of completion.
This Forklift Certification With Fall Protection - CT is tailored for workers who need to operate industrial powered trucks in Connecticut. The course will provide both OSHA Forklift and Fall Protection curriculum, training on best practices for forklift operation and focusing on decreasing forklift accidents. Participants will learn the necessary safe work practices and regulations designed to prevent injuries and death, due to falls while working in elevated surfaces. Fall Protection is required for any employee who operates powered industrial truck, aerial and scissor lifts.

Individuals looking to operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) in Connecticut.
What are the Connecticut requirements to obtain the Forklift Certification?
- 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- Command of the English language
- Good health
- Pass a drug test or the ability to pass the test
- Clean background check
- Valid driver's license
CT requires written test mandatory passing score 80%
Can Forklift Certification be used to get a job in another company ?
This course will provide a Forklift Certification which can be used to show your training competencies during the hiring process. However companies may require additional training that exceeds OSHA regulations and may have stricter safety rules. Each company or employer has to conduct a new session of training on the jobsite.
Is your course approved by OSHA?
Our training exceeds OSHA requirements but the Administration itself doesn’t formally approve any training material or company. However, it does provide guidelines for what must be covered and our training material meets and exceeds these requirements.
How long does it take to get my card after I pass the course?
You should receive your card in approximately 7-10 days after passing the course.
What does Certified mean?
It means you have reviewed the required safety training materials and passed a test with 80% or above. It also means that your employer has performed equipment specific on-the-job training, including a driving evaluation and reviewed company safety policies.
What is the minimum age required to get a forklift certification?
Federal laws prohibit anyone under the age of 18 from operating a forklift.
