First Aid/CPR/AED courses cover basic first aid training, the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The training meets the needs of workplace responders, professional rescuers, school staff members, professional responders, and healthcare providers, as well as the general public. To successfully complete this course, participants will demonstrate skills competency in adult CPR, use the AED, patient assessment, bleeding control, splinting, and bandaging.
