Fire Safety Director Courses

This Fire Safety Director course is designed to prepare candidate to participate in the formal written & on-site examinations required to be awarded a FSD C of F. This will be achieved by thorough review of current aspects of Local Law #5 of 1973 (both original & various updates thereof), as well as NYC Fire Code 2014: With special emphasis upon Chapter 4 (Emergency Planning & Preparedness), and Chapter 9 (Fire Protection Systems).

New York City Local Laws 5/73 and 16/84 require a certified Fire Safety Director to be present at most high-rise structures and buildings. This course will prepare interested candidates to enhance their skill set and become an integral member of safety coordination teams.
