A computer webcam, a cell phone with a camera, or a tablet with a camera and microphone will suffice. Students will sign a consent form for audio recordings. Additionally, the conference will be recorded so it can be sent to the state upon request. We will be using Zoom in order to conduct these teleconference classes.
This COVID-19 and the Workplace: OSHA'S Plan for Audits course trains students on how to comply with new OSHA requirements for COVID-19 safety. Specifically, students will learn the parameters for OSHA audits following complaints, illnesses and fatalities resulting from COVID-19. This course will help companies limit their potential for safety violations and OSHA fines.
The novel coronavirus pandemic has changed safety protocol across many industries. As a result, it's important for employers to understand the responsibilities their company has toward employee safety. This course teaches students the applicable OSHA regulations. Students will also learn what to expect in the event of an OSHA audit. By taking this course, employers can help prevent OSHA fines, lawsuits from stricken families, and other legal issues that arise when a company has no understanding of OSHA COVID-19 safety protocol.
