This NYC DOB-approved 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher Training course must be completed to renew the Site Safety Manager license, and can also be used to renew the Site Safety Coordinator certificate or Construction Superintendent renewal. This course is a comprehensive presentation of Chapter 33 and the Rules of the City of New York that pertains to public protection. During the training, students will review the hazards of working in the New York City construction environment and the specific methods and work practices that are necessary on an urban construction site. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a course completion certificate and be able to apply for license renewal.
Per the DOB’s recent amendment to section 104-06 of the Title 1 of the Rules of the City of New York, effective as of 5/25/2017, a Site Safety Manager or Site Safety Coordinator must complete a Department approved 8-Hour Site Safety Manager Refresher Training Course within 1 year prior to their license or certificate expiration.
